Few cars at any price can rival DTS Platinum’s blend of spaciousness and sheer, unabashed luxury. On the outside, DTS Platinum is distinguished by a unique chrome grille and chrome 18-inch wheels. A special high output version of the renowned Northstar V8 and suspension featuring Cadillac’s Magnetic Ride Control®technology add a higher level of performance. The seats are upholstered all around in supple Tuscany leather, and the console and upper instrument panel are wrapped in leather as well. Genuine Light Ash wood accents, an eight-speaker Bose® audio system and a full slate of premium amenities complete the package.

POWER AND GRACE.

Refined muscle – one of the greatest of Cadillac traditions – is an integral part of the DTS experience. The standard powerplant is a 4.6-litre Northstar V8 tuned to deliver a generous 275 horsepower. Or, if you prefer, there’s an available high-output version of the Northstar engine that produces 292 thoroughbred horses. As you would expect, the DTS chassis is equally sophisticated. Steering is via an advanced Magnasteer variable-assist system. The braking system features four-wheel discs along with ABS and dynamic rear proportioning. And the fully independent suspension features the StabiliTrak® electronic stability control system, for an extra measure of safety on slippery surfaces and in emergency manoeuvres.

With its potent stance, long wheelbase, broad front and rear tracks and standard V-rated low-profile tires, STS isa car with a distinctly athletic character.
