IT PERFORMS ON MANY DIFFERENT LEVELS.

Malibu's performance is fuelled by the standard 170 hp 2.4L ECOTEC four-cylinder engine. At the same time, it takes very little fuel to achieve that performance, with 5.9 L/100 km highway fuel consumption ratings - better than Toyota Camry LE, Honda Accord LX or Ford Fusion SE**. That's thanks to technology like Variable Valve Timing (VVT) and a six-speed automatic transmission. Malibu also gives you the option of turning the performance up a notch with an available 252 horsepower 3.6L V6.

The sports car-inspired dual cockpit design sets the tone. The quality workmanship is evident in the tight-fitting trim panels and in the quiet ride achieved through sound dampening features such as the acoustic laminated glass. The attention to detail extends to the driver's environment, with standard power driver's height and lumbar adjusters, in addition to a tilt and telescoping steering column.
